Amman Day Tour (Amman City Tour) –  (Daily Organized)
Today discover Jordan’s capital Amman, spreading over 20 hills. First visit the Citadel with the remains of the Umayyad Palace and the Hercules Temple as well as the Archaeological Museum with its excellent collection. From the Citadel we have a panoramic overview over the traditional part of the city. In downtown we see the Roman Theatre from 2nd century and the traditional souks. Then we stroll in Jabal Amman with its 19th century houses, in one of them the late King Hussein had been born. Enjoy a delicious Jordanian lunch at an Arabic Restaurant. After that, get an idea of the modernity of the city by driving through Abdoun, a residential area and the centre of nightlife. Back to Amman hotel.

stay with Bedouin family




Day1 Arrive to Wadi Rum village by noon and meet your Bedouin hosts.

Load equipment into the jeep and head into the desert to a remote location lunch



Learn about the Bedouin tents materials and tools and start building your Bedouin campsite. Go searching for wood to collect

Learn how to prepare an underground oven

Goat slaughtering in the traditional way done by Bedouin

Help in food preparation and the Bedouin Zarb cooking technique

Engoy  walk around over sunset who will give you an introduction about the desert and desert life

Back to the campsite to settle down

Dig out our dinner and enjoy a Bedouin feast

Sit around the camp’s fire and exchange banter with your Bedouin hosts and learn more about their lifestyle – an old Bedouin man might be present as well to give you an insight about the old times….

Day2 Breakfast

Head deeper into the desert to one of the desert mountain looking for water

You’ll be also learning about some of the different herbs that grow in the mountain

Come down from the mountain for lunch and relaxation

Go to visit some Bedouins in the desert…. Learn how to enter the house, greet and sit.. an opportunity to see how the Bedouin lives (but note that you cannot watch or take photos of women)

See the Bedouin coffee making process… learn about the tradition of coffee – its significant, how it is served and how you should have it as a guest

Get some goodies from the Bedouins for tonight’s dinner… yogurt and Bedouin bread..

Go for a round to check on the water reserves

Go check on a goat herd and have a glimpse into the shepherd’s job

See how the Bedouin Mansaf meal (the most traditional Jordanian dish) is cooked

Gather around the Mansaf plate for dinner and learn the tradition of eating Mansaf by hand

Go for a night trek

Day3 A morning desert walk to locate a mountain spring

Learn something about tracing in the desert

Head back to Rum village where your program ends just before noon

 Itinerary

Day1 Queen Alia International Airport – Madaba - Petra 
Arrive at Queen Alia International Airport and meet with English driver and then we drive to Madaba, to see the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George's church. After sightseeing in Madaba, you will transfer to Petra for overnight.
Overnight at Wadi Musa (Petra) 

Day2 Petra visit (B)
After having breakfast, visit at Petra, called “Rose Red City” The treasure of ancient world, hidden behind and almost impenetrable barrier of rugged mountains, boasting incomparable scenes that make in the most majestic and imposing ancient site will standing nowadays. At the beginning, the trail leads you the Siq, a 1.5km long narrow gorge. Then, you will be at Khazneh, also called treasury. You will enjoy the amazing sight of unique Nabataean architecture. Then, continue to the valley range to the temple and rock tombs with the unique monumental facades.


Day3 Petra – Wadi Rum (B, D)
After leaving from hotel at late afternoon, drive to Wadi Rum a journey to another world. A vast, silent place, timeless and starkly beautiful.. Wadi Rum is the one of the Jordan’s main tourist attractions being the most stunning deserts cape in the World, Jeep ride by 4 x 4 jeeps for 2 hours inside this magnificent desert. Then, you will transfer to desert camp site where you will have dinner and overnight tonight.
